Julie Casella is a senior human resources consultant with over 20 years’ experience assisting public and private equity owned companies. Julie joined Compensation & Benefit Solutions (“CBS”) in New York after spending 20+ years at CCMP Capital Advisors, LLC (“CCMP”) and its predecessor firms, JP Morgan Partners/Chase Capital Partners/Chemical Venture Partners. As Managing Director and Head of Human Capital, she served as strategic advisor to CCMP and its portfolio companies. Her practice focused on pre-acquisition due diligence, post-acquisition operational integration, restructuring, and talent management. She also played a key role in executive, director and employee compensation matters, during the portfolio company hold period, through the sale or IPO process, and after the public offering.

She brings her HR operational expertise to redesigning HR functions, streamlining compensation and benefit plans and their attendant costs, and undertaking sensitive assignments for management and boards.

She assists public, private, private equity, hedge fund, asset management, real estate, family office and foundation clients structure compensation packages for executives which are fair, competitive, and which leverage performance. Julie’s work spans diverse industries including healthcare, industrial, energy and consumer retail – with a global focus, including restructuring, talent, compensation and benefits projects for portfolio companies in Canada, the EU and Asia.

Julie began her career at Manufacturers Hanover/Chemical Bank, where she served in the Investment Bank Human Resources function before and after its acquisition by Chase Manhattan Bank. She holds a BA in Psychology from Pace University, an MA with Honors from The New School with Post Masters Concentrations in Labor Relations, Compensation and Organizational Development. She serves on the Board of LHP Hospital Group, Inc. She is a key Advisory Board Member of Truveris, a health care IT company. She also sits on the Advisory Board of the Pace University Dyson School of Arts & Sciences, and in 2015 served as an Advisory Group Member of Greenshields Canada.
